Don Miguel Gascon
Gascon Malbec 2007
Malbec - Australia
Gascon Malbec
Since 1884, the wines of Don Miguel Gascon have been recognized for the rich, smooth flavors that come from Argentina's Mendoza wine region. High altitude vineyards situated along the Cordillera of the Andes Mountains produce full mature grapes for this classic Malbec. It is full bodied and elegant with soft, round tannins, layered with flavors of blackberry, blueberry, dark cherry, and a hint of mocha.
10/10/2009- Italian Picnic. (didn't go well with the dry sausage. Summer 2009 - GREAT BBQ wine.

Aussie Salute
Aussie Salute
Shiraz - Australia
This feisty combination of Grenache, Shiraz and Viognier oozes with well-ripened blackberry, plum and currant notes. Made with structure and grip, the vibrant, juicy length lingers with a ‘have another glass’ finish. Drink now or hide in the cellar for 3 years.

A partnership in winemaking between California's Robert Mondavi and Australia's Rosemount Estate, Talomas (pronounced "tah-LOW-mas") is one of the two labels produced by this joint venture. Adopting a rule that neither company was allowed to work in its own backyard, Talomas was made in California by the Rosemount team lead by winemaker Philip Shaw.
