Kermit Lynch
Cuvée Sélectionée par Kermit Lynch
France - Cotes du Rhone
Cuvée Sélectionée par Kermit Lynch
Kermit Lynch got into the wine business as a retailer in California and later ventured into importing and distribution. Many of the wines they import don’t fall into my under $20 price range. They are typically very selective about the wines they import.
Côtes du Rhône wines are typically “drink now” style wines and are fermented in cement vats and are not aged in oak.
Smokey oak, barnyard, and black cherry make up the bouquet.

A partnership in winemaking between California's Robert Mondavi and Australia's Rosemount Estate, Talomas (pronounced "tah-LOW-mas") is one of the two labels produced by this joint venture. Adopting a rule that neither company was allowed to work in its own backyard, Talomas was made in California by the Rosemount team lead by winemaker Philip Shaw.

Clos Du Bois
Sonoma County Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir - California - Sonoma County
Sonoma County Pinot Noir
Sonoma County Pinot Noir Pinot Noir is a delicate and sometimes difficult wine to produce successfully. To fully capture the unique character of this varietal, we use time-honored Burgundian techniques of small tank fermentation and aging in heavily toasted oak. This technique preserves the smooth, rich texture and subtle varietal flavors of the grape, producing the aromas of crushed rose petals and rich cherry characteristic of fine Pinot Noir. Discover the perfect Pinot pairing…serve this wine with grilled salmon.

J. Lohr Estates
Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 1999
Cabernet Sauvignon -
Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark ruby-red in color, has aromas of cherry, black currant, blueberry and violets. The bouquet is an elegant blend of vanilla, chocolate, truffles, cedar and thyme. Showing ripe and velvety soft tannins with a plump structure supported by good acidity, the 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon will complement grilled or roasted red meats or red-sauced pasta dishes and will develop additional complexity with up to ten years of bottle aging.

Canyon Road
Merlot 1999
Merlot -
Merlot
A soft, balanced, easy drinking style of wine so typical of this varietal. Fruit for this wine is sourced from various sites throughout Northern California. A short maturation in American oak has contributed both oak complexity and softening of the palate. The color is rich red. Classic Merlot characters of plum, spice and red cherry dominate the nose with sweet vanillin oak adding a further dimension. The palate is soft and round with fine-grained tannins adding structure.
