Martha Gramm - 1949

Martha Ottelie Gramm was born at Bethune, Colo., on March 10, 1908, and departed this life on July 1, 1949, at the age of 41 years, 3 months and 21 days at Burlington.

Mrs. Gramm, who had worked all day Tuesday, apparently feeling fine, was taken to the Memorial hospital in Burlington about three o'clock Wednesday morning, suffering from a cerebral hemorrhage.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, William, of Burlington; two daughters, Arline and Edna, also of Burlington; four brothers, Julius Stahlecker of Burlington, Ed Stahlecker of Seibert, Jake Stahlecker of Stratton and Ralph Stahlecker of Bethune; two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Knodel and Mrs. Fredia Schlichenmayer, both of Bethune, and many other relatives and friends.

Services were held at the Congregational church at the Settlement on July 5, with Rev. L. C. Johnson and Rev. J. Rothenburger in charge. Burial was in the Congregational cemetery.
