Phyllis Ann (Schlichenmayer) Hall-2006 Phyllis Ann Hall, 67 of Lometa, Texas,
died at her residence on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006. She
had lived in Lometa since 1994 and prior to that in Kempner, Texas and Oregon.
Born on May 15, 1938 in Bethune, she was the daughter of Reinhart Otto
Schlichenmayer and Ann Louise Weiss Schlichenmayer. She graduated from high
school in Bethune. She is survived by two sons, Duane and
wife Zoe Griffith of Lometa, Texas and Douglas Griffith of Lometa, adopted
daughter, Tammy Roberts of Lmpasas, Texas, four grandchildren, Roger and wife
Mary Griffith of Lometa, Amanda and husband Jacob Tower of Lometa, and Dallas
and Nicholas Griffith of Grass Valley, Calif. Two brothers, Lee and wife Jacque
Schlichenmayer of Greeley, and Dale and Roxanne Schlichenmayer of Evans,, two
sisters, Geraldine Carter of Lometa, Texas and Linda Coles of St. Francis, Kan.
also survive her. She has five reat-grandchildren. The family, will have a private memorial service for Phyllis at her home at a later date. Her body will be cremated. Memorial donations are requested to the Cancer Research Institute at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Burlington from 1969 until marrying Robert and moving to her favorite city, Colorado Springs. She reached out to the community by working with seniors and the mentally challenged. She is loved and missed by many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Pikes Peak Hospice, 825 E. Pikes Peak Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80903. |
