Hulda Bauder   --  1980

     Funeral services for Hulda Bauder, nee Schlichenmayer, 68, were Tuesday, March 25, 1:30 pm at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Rocky Ford with interment at the Hillcreast Cemetery there.
    Ustick Funeral Home was in charge of the services, officiated by Pastor Robert Rosenkoetter and casket bearers included Ervin Stahlecker, Russel Stahlecker, Frank Wagner, Al Schafer, Jake Lendt and Ralph Grismick. 
    Hulda Margaret Schlichenmayer was born Dec. 24, 1911, at Bethune to Gottlieb and Magdalene Schlichenmayer and departed this life March 22, 1980 following an extending illness. 
    She was baptized and confirmed in Immanuel Lutheran Church of Bethune. 
    United in marriage to H.M. Bauder; four children were born to the union and the family were residents of Rocky Ford since 1945 and members of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of that city. 
    She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Herman, on March 12, 1974; her father, Gottlieb; and three brothers, Bernard, Elmer and Frederick. 
    She is survived by four children; Marvin Bauder and wife, Betty, of Albuquerque, N.M.; Rev. Harold Bauder and wife Mary Alice of Tacoma, Wash.; Nina Ogilvie and husband Ronald of Colorado Springs; Geneva Davis and husband Dean of Pueblo; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 
    Other survivors include her mother, Lena Schlichenmayer of Bethune; a sister, Freda Schaal of Burlington; and five brothers.  Pete and Rudy of Burlington; George and Lawrence of Bethune; and Vernon, of Hay Springs, Neb.
