Magdalena "Lena" Schlichenmayer, 102, of Burlington died March 24 in the Grace Manor Care Center.  Services were March 28 in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bethune.  Burial was in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.  Mrs. Schlichenmayer, a native of Talmage, Neb., homesteaded near Bethune with her late husband, Gottlieb Schlichenmayer.  She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.  She is survived by four sons, Pete Schlichemayer and Lawrence Schlichenmayer of Bethune, Rudy Schlichenmayer of Burlington and Vernon Schlichenmayer of Rushville, Neb.; four sisters, Mary Adolf, Pauline Schlichenmayer, Margaret Stahlecker and Anna Adolf, all of Burlington; three brothers, William, Jacob and Karl Weisshaar, all of Burlington; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.  Contributions:  Lena Schlichenmayer Memorial Fund, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bethune 80805.
