Registry Search Early histories state that Andrew Baltzers and
The Widow Baltzer (more likely Dorothea) were
part of the 1890 (1889) immigration to
eastern Colorado. References to Christian
Baltzer, brother of Andrew, appear in other
early histories. A noted
photograph of the "Baltzer Homestead," just
east of the Immanuel Lutheran Church shows the
Baltzer family and the the "Old Rock" church in
the background.
