John J HARMS, of the Barneston vicinity, who was taken to Fall's sanitarium in Beatrice, Thursday afternoon suffering from an unknown illness passed away there Friday evening.  He was about 44 years of age, and leaves the wife and several children to mourn his going.  Funeral services were held at St. John's Lutheran Church, west of Barneston Monday afternoon at 2:30 and interment was held in the church cemetery.

        Mrs. Christine Harms, age 84, a resident of Wymore for about 60 years, passed away in a Beature hospital on May 27.  She is survived by one son, Norman, Beatrice; one daughter, Mrs. Carl Hurtz, Wymore; three sisters, Mrs. Reiner Hartwig, Cheyenne, Wyo., Mrs. Chris Gerdes, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Pauline Kloeckner, Burlington, Colo.; Chris Kramer, Burlington, Colo., William Kramer, Bethune, Colo.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Wymore at 2 p.m. May 29, with Rev. Arnold Griesse of Odell officiating. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery, west of Barneston.
