Anna Bauer  --  1997

       Funeral services for Anna Marie Bauer were Thursday, Dec. 18, 1997, at the Stickley-Hill Funeral Chapel in Canadian, Texas, with Dr. Lewis Holland, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. 
       Services were in Bethune on Friday, Dec. 19, 1997, at 2 p.m. in the Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev.  Dianne Dietz, pastor, officiating. Interment was in the Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Bethune with Stickley-Hill Funeral Home taking care of arrangements 
      Anna Marie Bauer was born Oct. 8, 1901, in Bethune to Gottlieb and Katherine Louise Fanselau Bauder.  She married Martin Bauer on May 25, 1922, in Bethune.  He proceeded her in death on Jan. 11, 1974. 
       Anna was a homemaker.  She was a very active member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bethune and the senior citizens.  In 1990, she moved to Canadian, Texas from Burlington. 
      Survivors include two sons, Walter R. Bauer of Bozeman, Mont., and Daniel C. Bauer of Eaton; one daughter, Evelyn K. Billenwillms of Canadian, Texas. 
      She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. 
      Memorial contributions in Anna's name may be sent to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 27911 County Road No. 41, Bethune, CO 80805.
