Florence STROBEL Scott (2006)

Florence Elizabeth.  Scott, age 71, from Byers, entered into rest at University Hospital in Denver, on Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, following a courageous; battle with diabetes.

Florence was born May 20, 1934 in Bethune to the late Emil and Anna Strobel. Florence is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Scott of Byers; her daughters, Karen Potter of Loveland, Sharon Ehmann of Lillian, Ala., and Cindy Schied-Mostek of Aurora, and her only son, Thomas Scott Jr. of Grand Junction.

Grandchildren, David Howell of Fort Collins, Aaron Howell of Loveland; Charlene Walp of Salida; Marc Howell of Loveland; Scott Ehmann of Fort Collins; Eric Scott of Denver; Danny Scheid of Aurora; Michael Potter of Loveland; Kevin Scheid and Matt Mostek of Aurora.  Her great-grandchildren, Madison Walp, Dakota Howell, William Walp Jr., Breanna Walp, Aaron Howell, Jr., Connor Walp, Carli Howell and Cooper Howell.  She is also survived by her sister, Julia Liufau of Haxtun and brother, Leland Strobel of Bethune.

Florence's funeral service was held on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006 at Restoration Christian Fellowship Church in Aurora, where numerous family and friends came to pay their respects to honor her life that she truly lived for her Lord and Savior every day of her life.

"Florence will be truly missed by all."
