Marriage to Johann BALZER 1850

Some evidence shows that Dorothea Sattler's first husband, John Baltzer (Baldzer)-2778 died before she immigrated to the US.  After she settled in the states she may have married (or was supported by) Jacob Strobel, Sr.-3309.  This helps explain the presents of the gravestone in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery marked as Dorothea Baltzer next to the grave of Jacob Strobel.
