Christina Hartl - 1986

Visiting hours for Christina (Bauder) Hart are through 9 p.m. tonight (Thursday) at Woods Mortuary on Washington Avenue.  Graveside services for the near centenarian will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Golden Cemetery.  Mrs. Hartl would have been 100 years old Friday.  She passed away Tuesday, Sept. 23, at the Mountain Vistia Nursing Home.

Christina was born September 25, 1886, near Birsula, Russia.  She came to Burlington, Colo., in May, 1889.  In July, 1910, she married Andrew P. Hartl.  He preceded her in death in June, 1961,  as did one daughter, Margaret Bitzer on April 10, 1970.  Prior to entering a nursing home, Mrs. Hartl was active locally in sewing clubs, the Order of the Eastern Star and Golden Rebecka Lodge No. 8.

She is survived by a son Edward L. Hartl of Golden and his wife, Jo Anne; three grandchildren, Ann Hazelton, Chrissie Bitzer, and Michael L. Hartl. Also, by three sisters, Clara Lloyd of Loveland, Katie Coad of Canyon City, Bertha Castle of Roundup, Mont., and her husband, Theron Castle. Arrangements are being handled by Woods Mortuary.
