Emma Schritter Willt --  2000

        Emma Schritter Willt, 86, died Tuesday, Nov. 2000, at Brightmoor Health Center in Griffin, Ga.  Mrs. Willt was born May [sic] 1914, in Aberdeen, Idaho, the daughter of Ernest and Paulina Schritter.  She was married to Fred Willt on Feb, 25, 1935, and lived in St. Francis, Kan.  They Later moved to Moses Lake, Washington, until Mr. Willt's death in 1968.  Mrs. Willt then moved to Colorado Spring, Colo., and remained there until June of 2000.  While in Colorado Springs she married Lawrence Eike, now deceased.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Bill and Sharon Day of Griffin; sisters, Christina Carr of Colorado Springs, Colo., Martha Schultz of Vancouver, Wash., Regina Krien of Fort Morgan, Colo., Elizabeth Isernhagen of Boulder, Colo., Helen Shroud of Bakersfield, Calif.; and a brother, Robert Schritter of Fort Lupton, Colo. Her grand-daughter Anne Smith of Tucker, Ca, also survives her.  There was a graveside memorial service in the St. Francis Cemetery at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19.  In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association, One, Corp Square, Suite 127, Atlanta, BA [sic] 30329 in memory of Mrs. Willt.  Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis and McCullough Funeral Home in Griffin were in charge of the arrangements.
