Immigrated 9 June 1889 to South Dakota, later to Colorado, in 1908 to Nebraska, in 1917 Mercer Co. North Dakota.

Arrived in Scotland, South Dakota to join a Strobel brother already
there -- then moved to Colorado a few years later, accompanied by 6
children: (Johannes, Katherina, Gotthilf, Phillip, Fredrich,
Christina) and Caroline youngers brothers (Strobels)

1890 migration from Scotland, South Dakota along with Jakob and
