Fred BAUER (1934)

Fred Bauer, son of the first marriage of Andrew Bauer, who
departed this life Oct. 3, 1934, was born July 15, 1900, in Kit Carson county
near Bethune. He was baptized and confirmed in the the Lutheran
church. In his early youth he lost his m#### and when in his teens sever##
trouble gave his much concern### for about a year he was to### blind. The
eyesight being res### other troubles set in. Bright## #ease
was one of the body ail### which hastened his early life ###cline. In
later years a can### condition developed which ### turned out into a
cancer of the somach which caused his death. ## months ago he was taken to
the hospital in Denver, but returned ## there with no improvement.
The## Stay at the home of his wi### stepmother who with all rel###
tried to take the best care for### with the aid of Dr. Robinson, ### grew
continually weaker. F### he was taken to the Burlington hospital for the
purpose of giving ### as much as as possible, sin#### hope had vanished.

was peaceful. H### whishes were to go home to his savior. He
had strengthened hi### with the Lord's Supper and rep### ly folded his hands in pray
and prayed the Lord's prayer as hi### on earth. He was conscious a ### to
the end and some of the rel### were at this beside when he p## out. He
leaves to mourn his stepmother Beate Bauer, one full brother, ### full sister,
Martin Bauer and ### Wm Adolf and Mrs. Dave Schlichenmayer; four half brothers,
Au## Albert, Edward, Theodore; two sisters, Miss Annie Bauer and ### Theresa
Hooker. He reached the age of 34 years ### months and 28 days. |
