Edward Kramer-125

 Edward Frank Kramer was born on October 16, 1934 in Bethune, Colorado to Christian (Chris) and Maria (Mary) Kramer. He went to meet his Lord and Savior after a battle with cancer on February 8, 2008. He grew up on the family farm north of Bethune with his older sister (Lorena) and brother (Max). He attended the country school near their home and graduated from Bethune High School in 1952.

On April 10, 1955 he married Lucille Schlichenmayer. Five children were born to the union. In 1960, they moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where he worked in the dairy business, Colorado Springs Sun, and later for Colorado Springs School District 11 in custodial maintenance where he retired in 1999.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Max. He will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Lucille, daughters Debra (Dean) Elliott, Donna (Jeff) Ward, Linda Flim, and sons Douglas and Robert Kramer; four grandchildren Holly Dugger, Christopher (Jennifer) Dugger, Melissa Flim, Lora Elliott; two great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Domnic; sister Lorena (Alvin) Bucholz of Grand Junction, sister-in-law, Mildred Kramer of Burlington, Colorado; nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at the Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910 with inurnment to follow at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
