Anna Stahlecker Feit --  1944

         Anna Stahlecker Feit was born on the 28th day of March 1892, at Bethune, Colo.  She was married to Mr. Henry Feit of Ft. Collins, Colo., on October 30, 1935.  Having submitted herself wholly to the will of God, she underwent a major operation in the hospital at Ft. Collins on the 27th of April.  The operation at first seemed to be very successful, but unexpectedly a blood clot formed in the patient's lungs.  She died on May 7.  She arrived at the age of 48 years, 1 month and 9 days.  The bereaved are, her husband Henry Feit, three stepsons, Henry, Reinhold and Alexander Feit, one stepdaughter, Eva Feit, all of Ft. Collins; Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Stahlecker; three brothers and five sisters of Bethune.  Her remains were laid to rest in the cemetery of the Congregational church north of Bethune, on May 10, with Rev. J. F. Reisten officiating.
