 Tree Bench
Our tree
bench was inspired by photos of a large tree bench that once sat
between the men's & women's dormitories at Dana College in the
1950's & 60's.
For years, we
collection photos and ideas on how to construct a tree bench to
go around our Black Locus tree in the west yard. We
choose a 5-sided, hexagon design and used both new treated wood
and salvaged cedar wood. It was built and installed the week
part of June 2010. |
