Heat oven to 375ºF.  Beat together sugars and butter until light and fluffy.  Blend in eggs and vanilla.  Add combined flour, soda and salt.  Mix well.  Stir in candies.  Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
