Baked Egg Casserole

variation from Bee Krantz -- Blair, Nebraska

2 cups cubed French loaf bread
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
6 eggs, slightly beaten
2 cups milk or half and half
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon  prepared hot mustard
1 small onion
black pepper
1 pint of fresh mushrooms, sliced or
1 can mushrooms drained
1 pound bacon, crisp and crumbled

Herbs & Cheese

9 x 13 greased pan.

Refrigerated over night.  Bake at 325 for 60 min.  Let set for 10 min.  Service 8.
