German Sausage

3/4 cup salt
1/2 cup black pepper
1/2 bottle (1.25 oz.) garlic powder
30 pounds of ground pork
10 pounds of ground beef
1 cup brown sugar (optional)

Mix thoroughly.  Test fry a patty to check the seasoning.  When you are satisfied with the seasoning, stuff the sausage in casings and package for freezing.
